Privacy

How carrybase.ai handles personal data, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible

The controller for personal data processed on this website is Carrybase GmbH i. G., Berlin, Germany. Contact details are in our Imprint.

What this site does not do

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking, embeds no third-party scripts, and loads its fonts from its own server. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you were not asked.

What we collect

If you request a demo. The form asks for your name, work email address, organisation and role, and optionally whatever you choose to write in the notes field. We also record which page of the site the request came from, so we know which material is useful.

Server logs. Like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider that records technical request data — including your IP address, the time of the request and your browser’s user agent — for security and reliability.

Why, and on what legal basis

We use demo request details to reply to you and to prepare or carry out a business relationship — Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to a contract), and Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR where you write to us on behalf of an organisation, our legitimate interest being to respond to business enquiries. Server logs rest on Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating the site securely.

Providing the form data is voluntary. If you would rather not use the form, email us instead.

Who receives it

Your demo request is delivered to a Carrybase mailbox through our email provider, and the site is run by our hosting provider. Both act as processors on our instructions. A separate internal notification tells us that a request has arrived and which page it came from — it contains no personal data. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards permitted by Chapter V GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Demo requests are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any business relationship that follows, and then deleted unless commercial or tax law requires us to retain them. Server logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

You may request access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). Write to [email protected] and we will act on it.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in the EU member state where you live, work, or where you believe the issue occurred.
